Seeds
The ALESS Lab can provide students with seeds for germination and plant growth experiments. Seeds of different species have different timings and requirement for germination. Please consult with your ALESS instructor about what kind of seed is more adequate to reach the experiment results you are aiming for.

Plants/ Bacteria culture
Experiments with plants and bacteria are common topics in ALESS experiments. For these experiments, students usually use agar medium for the culture of microorganisms and/or plants. The ALESS Lab can provide you with different compositions agar media and petri dishes/ plates to match your research specificities. Please come to the lab and talk to one of our TAs in case you wish to use agar medium in your research.
AGAR MEDIUM IS PREPARED EVERY THURSDAY. PLEASE COME 1-WEEK EARLIER TO THE LAB TO MAKE YOUR RESERVATION.
